The owner and operator of this website is Halcyon Days Ltd of 124 Finchley Road, London, NW3 5JS ('the Company') which is registered with Companies House under number 07734959 and VAT registered under number GB 123 8322 37. Halcyon Days Ltd is the seller (the 'Seller' or 'We') of the products offered at Halcyon Days web stores through the web addresses www.halcyondays.co.uk and www.halcyondaysusa.com later collectively referred to as the 'website'. Halcyon Days Ltd does not retain control, influence, or liability for products sold using its name under and other web addresses.
I. General
1.1 These Sales Terms together with our Privacy & Cookie Policies, Deliver & Returns Policy, and any additional terms (including but not limited to campaigns or promotions and specific product descriptions) and information that may be provided to you for ordering Products (colelctively 'Terms' or 'T&Cs') are applicable to all purchases made on our website.
1.2 By placing an order for products through our website and checking 'accept terms and conditions' at checkout, you agree to these terms. If you refuse to accept these terms, you will not be able to order any products from our website.
1.3 We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms at any time without notice. Any order placed through our website is subject to the Terms in force at the time of your order and will apply to the length of the contract between the customer ('You' / 'Your') and Halcyon Days, Ltd. ('the Company').
1.4 Any notices, disclosures, agreements, changes, or other communications relating to Your use of the website will be provided to you electronically as required.
1.5 We expressly retain the right, without notice, and without liability for compensation to withdraw access to the website, remove elements from the website, or restrict use of certain functions and services of the website, in whole or part at any time without notice.
1.6 These Terms do not affect Your legal rights, which cannot be waived or limited by contract.
II. Orders
2.1 You may place an order and buy products through our website if you satisfy the conditions below:
- You are at least 18 years of age;
- You are the authorised holder of a valid debit / credit card or PayPal account to pay for your purchases; and,
- You agree to provide your real name and correct and complete address, phone number, email address, payment details, and any other information required.
2.2 The shopping pages on our website guide you through the steps required to place an order with us. Our checkout process allows you to review, amend, or remove any errors before submitting your order to us. It is your responsibility to review your order at each stage of the order process.
2.3 The 'confirmation' stage of the checkout process collects and displays the final details of your order. Following final payment, we will send you an electronic comminication acknowledging receipt of your order and detailing the products you have ordered ('Order Confirmation').
2.4 Your Order Confirmation serves as the receipt of goods for your order. We are not able to produce a separate VAT invoice from the Order Confirmation communication.
2.5 N.B. An Order Confirmation does not mean that your order has been accepted. Listing of products on our website represents an invitation to treat only and not a binding sale of goods agreement. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will only take place upon dispatch to you of the products ordered, at which time we will send you an Order Dispatch confirmation by electronic communication.
2.6 We may choose not to accept orders for any reason or no reason. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you for the product(s). This may be because of, but is not limited to, out of stock products, limitations on our resources outside of our reasonable control, an error in pricing or description on our website, or an inability to meet delivery timelines specified.
2.7 We do not guarantee the availability of any product advertised on our website. We reserve the right, without liability or earlier notice to change, discontinue, or make product(s) unavailable owing to any reason or no reason.
2.8 Products advertised on a 'lead time' (e.g. Personalised products which take 2-3 weeks to manufacture) will display on the product page a timeline for delivery. All products advertised in this manner are handmade to order, and this time frame is a guidelines only which is subject to change. Should this timeline change, we will endeavour to contact you promptly and with a specific delivery update. If you require the product for a particular date, please be in touch via our 'Contact Us' page. Please note, express delivery is not available for made to order items. See below for further information on Personalised orders.
III. Personalisation
3.1 Please ensure that you take extra care when entering any names or messages into our website as we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for personalised items unless there is a manufacturing fault with the product.
3.2 We endeavour to deliver all personalised products between 2-3 weeks; however, as our personalised items are made by hand, this may take up to or over 30 days. We will only dispatch first-quality personalised pieces, which means we may occasionally have to re-make your order. If you need the product for a particular date, please be in touch with us via our 'Contact Us' page. Please note, express delivery is not available for personalised items.
3.3. We reserve the right not to accept personalised orders if we believe that the personalisation is inappropriate and/or offensive. Please note that we are unable to accept emojis or symbols.
IV. Prices and Payments
4.1 Except where indicated otherwise, prices displayed on the website represent the full retail price at the time of your order. These prices include value-added tax ('VAT') when browsing/purchasing from the United Kingdom, and taxes will be removed automatically on product pages when you are browsing/purchasing from outside the United Kingdom.
4.2 Prices do not include delivery and handling charges which are calculated and displayed separately at checkout.
4.3 We do not offer payment of, nor are we liable for,any applicable import taxes or duties for international orders, nor are we able to calculate estimated import taxes or duties.
4.4 Our websites support payments made in other currencies other than Pounds Sterling (GBP) on www.halcyondays.co.uk and United States Dollars (USD) on www.halcyondaysusa.com. We are not responsible for the exchange rate at which a bank charges its customer, nor for any additional charges for international payments.
4.5 If an error is discovered in the price of the product(s) that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible before we accept your order. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious, unmistakable, or otherwise could reasonably have been recognised by you as incorrect, we may choose to refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods delivered.
4.6 The prices shown on our website are applicable only to shopping directly with Halcyon Days Ltd, and we do not guarantee the same prices in third-party stockists or resellers.
4.7 We reserve the right to change prices and terms of payment at any time without notice. These changes will not affect orders already placed.
4.8 Promotional codes, sale pricing, or any other form of discount or offer may only be used online and according to any terms and conditions issues with the code, sale pricing, discount, or offer. Any promotional code or coupon cannot be combined with other offers or discounts and will not apply on already discounted products or products at special promotional prices, unless otherwise stated. Certain products, such as Limited Edition Enamels or Dated Annual Editions will never form part of a promotional offer or discount and any claim to a relevant code or discount will not be recognised as valid. We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel the promotion if deemed necessary by us after a reasonable period. Where a promotional code is issued to a specific individual, the right to any associated discount is personal to
the recipient and may not be transferred. Promotional codes distributed or circulated without our prior written approval or by any third party are not valid for use and may be refused or cancelled.
V. Deliveries
5.1 Deliveries are made only to the countries indicated on our Deliveries & Returns page. Products will be sent to the delivery address given by you in your order and as stated in the Order Confirmation.
5.2 You agree that we may deliver products in instalments in case some of the products ordered by you are temporarily unavailable or made to order. You will not be charged any additional delivery costs. Whenever reasonably applicable, we will notify you of part shipment of your order and estimated delivery dates as soon as possible.
5.3 Items purchased as 'made to order' or 'pre sold' will display delivery estimates on the product page and in the checkout process. Delivery time frames are estimates only and do not form a sale of goods agreement.
5.4 We cannot be held responsible for delay or failure to perform if the delay or failure to perform is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will take all reasonable steps to prevent and minimise delays caused by such circumstances, and in the unlikely event of a substantial delay, you reserve the right to cancel your order without additional charges.
5.5 If for any reason we cannot deliver your order within a reasonable time frame after the order was placed, we will inform you as soon as possible, and you will be entitled to a full refund.
VI. Order Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds
For details about how to make a return or request a refund or exchange, please see our instructions on our 'Deliveries & Returns' page which form an integral part of these Terms.
Please note that we will only process returns, replacements, or refunds for products purchased from our own website. If Halcyon Days products were purchased from another website, stockist, or reseller, please follow that seller's returns policy.
All refunds will e made by crediting the payment card and via the payment provider originally used for placing the order.
6.1 Cancelling Your Order:
For all products ordered from our website, you have a right to return and seek a refund during a withdrawal period set out in our Delivery & Returns Policy.
Please note that cancellation rights do not apply with regards to:
- Items made to your specification (including but not limited to made to order products and personalised products).
- Earrings and other pierced jewellery.
- Any item expressly altered to a customer's request.
All returns should be made with products unused and in their original packaging. To ensure that your return will be processed correctly and quickly, please ensure that you include your order details and request for a refund / exchange.
If you return your order, the original delivery costs will not be refunded unless the return is made owing to a fault with the product, a mistake with the delivery, or an express agreement between us and you.
Likewise, all return costs and all costs of exchange shipping are payable by you unless the return is made owing to a fault with the product, a mistake with the delivery, or an express agreement between us and you.
Any returns made from outside the United Kingdom will only be liable for a refund for the price paid on the Order Confirmation. We are not responsible, nor will we issue a refund, for any taxes, duties, or other charges applied to the order by your country of residence or for any changes in exchange rate between GBP and your payment currency.
6.2 Returns of Defective Products and Returns Owing to Mistakes with Delivery:
It is your legal right according to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to expect to receive goods which are fit for purpose, as described, and of satisfactory quality. In cases where a product does not comply with these requirements, it may be deemed as defective.
If the product(s) delivered to you are deemed defective, or you have receive products which you did not order, please contact us as soon as possible. Please note that you will be required to provide us with clear photographic evidence of all alleged faults or damage.
Whenever products have been damaged during shipping or handling, are otherwise defective, or are not the same items you have ordered, we will arrange for the collection, replacement, or refund of such product(s) as necessary. Replacements are only possible when the same or similar items are in stock and can be provided.
Please note that we will only ever refund any delivery costs which you have paid to us directly, and, as permitted by law, we will only refund the maximum cost of delivery by the least expensive delivery method we offer, unless otherwise confirmed by us in writing.
If you have selected and paid for a more expensive method of delivery than the least expensive delivery method we offer, and we are unable to dispatch your order within the time frame specified, we will refund the difference between the option selected and our least expected delivery method. Note that we are not responsible, nor will we provide refunds, for reasonable delays made by our shipping carriers for reasons outside of our control.
6.3 Manufacturer's Guarantee:
We are proud of the craftmanship of our products, and our jewellery, in particular, is meant to be worn and enjoyed. Therefore, all of our jewellery is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Should a manufacturing fault be discovered within this time frame, we will replace the product for you at no extra cost.
To make a claim against this guarantee, please contact us and provide the following:
- Your Order Number
- The Date of Purchase
- A Description and Photograph of the fault
Upon claiming under this guarantee, we may request to inspect the product in person to establish how the issue or fault has occured.
This guarantee excludes coverage for wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, or theft. We will not cover any pieces which have been handled against our care instructions. Repair work, resizing, alterations, or services performed by any person other than Halcyon Days will void this guarantee. We reserve the right to refuse a replacement based on this guidance.
All sale, discontinued, or seconds products are excluded from this 12 month guarantee.

6.4 Our Right to Cancel Your Order:
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us and you if your chosen payment method cannot be charged or if we cannot deliver your order owing to reasons dependent on you.

Any use or storage of your personal data is governed by our Privacy & Cookie Policies.
VIII. Limitation of Liability
While we endeavour to ensure that all product information, such as sizes, measurements, descriptions, and photography is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date on the website at all times, there may be a difference in actuality owing to the handmade nature of our products. N.B. the colour of products viewed on our website is variable depending on device and colour profile of your display.
Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, we are not legally responsible for any losses applicable that were not foreseeable to you and us when the contract was formed, that were not caused by any breach on our part.
IX. Changes to These Terms and Severability
Any and all changes to these Terms and Conditions of Sale will be effective from the date last updated as indicated in the introduction to these Terms.
If any provision in these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law. This shall not affect or impair the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
X. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to these Terms. In all instances, we will first try to resolve any disputes with you directly. Please contact us as soon as reasonable possible should you have any concerns or complaints.
