We are delighted to announce that on 7th May 2024, we were one of 145 companies to have been awarded the Grant of Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III as sole suppliers of Objets d'Art.

 

Halcyon Days has held Royal Warrants since 1972, and over the past 50 years has held the warrants of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, and of course the former Prince of Wales, whose warrant we held for some 37 years, since 1987 when it was first awarded.

 

We have cherished these relationships with The Royal Households, and we are humbled by this recognition from His Majesty King Charles III.

 

Our business is a dedicated supporter of His Majesty's passion for protecting the arts and heritage crafts. His Majesty has also long been a champion of a sustainable future, of work in local communities - both rural and urban - across the country and indeed the world, and in supporting young people to craft meaningful lives for themselves in today's challenging environments.

 

Our support of organisations such as The King's Foundation, The King's Trust, and The Royal Countryside Fund, amongst others, has become part of our DNA, and we will move forward with all of these this year and in years to come.

 

As many of you know, our sister company is The Caverswall English China Company, based in Stoke-on-Trent, and supplying exquisite fine bone china around the globe. The business specialises in tableware and decorative accents for the home and celebrated its 52nd anniversary this year.

 

We have the honour too of having been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III as the sole supplier of Fine Bone China, a tribute to the craftsmen and women of Stoke-on-Trent who have stood loyally by our management team as we turned the business around from working a 2-day week in 2017, to being the humming, lively, and joyful factory it now is. 

 

We could not have achieved this significant recognition without you, our customers, who support our skilled craftsmen and women in our two factories in Wolverhampton and Stoke-on-Trent, by purchasing our products with such unswerving loyalty - and for this we thank you. We will continue to strive to be the best in every way, and our purpose is to be of service to you.
